Hello there! I'm Alyssa — business professor by day and whisky whisperer by night.

 

My whisky journey began in 2018 with a dram of Lagavulin 16. That first sip sparked a passion and led to the creation of Girl with Cask Strength — my little corner of the Internet where I share honest, unfiltered whisky reviews with fellow malt lovers.

Over time, Girl with Cask Strength has become more than a whisky blog. It's a celebration of authentic friendships, meaningful conversations, and living life with a bit more spirit. What began online slowly grew into something shared in-person — curated whisky tastings where people can explore whisky, discover new flavors, and enjoy the experience with friends.
